„W drugą rocznicę bestialskiej napaści Federacji Rosyjskiej na Ukrainę Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej potępia działania władz rosyjskich i apeluje do Międzynarodowego Trybunału Karnego o osądzenie winnych wszystkich zbrodni wojennych dokonanych na narodzie ukraińskim” – napisali posłowie w dokumencie, który został przyjęty w czwartek (22 lutego) podczas drugiego dnia 6. posiedzenia Izby.
„Łącząc się w bólu z rodzinami, które w działaniach wojennych straciły bliskich, Sejm RP oddaje hołd wszystkim żołnierzom, którzy zginęli w obronie Ukrainy, oraz zamordowanym cywilom” – podkreślono.
„Mając świadomość, że Ukraina broni nie tylko swoich granic, ale również powstrzymuje rosyjski imperializm, Sejm RP składa wyrazy uznania i dziękuje za odwagę i waleczność narodowi ukraińskiemu oraz tej części społeczności międzynarodowej, która wspiera jego działania obronne” – wskazano.
Izba wyraziła szczególne podziękowanie dla Polek i Polaków, którzy zaangażowali się i wciąż angażują w pomoc obywatelom Ukrainy.
Posłowie w podjętej uchwale zaznaczyli, że „od losów Ukrainy zależą dziś losy Polski i Europy”. Zaapelowali także do rządów państw NATO i Unii Europejskiej o „wzmocnienie wszechstronnego wsparcia udzielanego Ukrainie, w szczególności o zapewnienie szybkich dostaw sprzętu wojskowego i amunicji, pozwalających na skuteczną obronę kraju przed agresorem”.

Resolution of the Sejm on paying tribute to the victims of the Russian aggression against Ukraine
"On the second anniversary of the Russian Federation's bestial assault on Ukraine, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland condemns the actions of the Russian authorities and appeals to the International Criminal Court to try those responsible for all war crimes committed against the Ukrainian people," MPs wrote in a document adopted on Thursday (22 February) on the second day of the 6th session of the Chamber.
“Joining in the pain of the families who lost their loved ones in the hostilities, the Polish Parliament pays tribute to all soldiers who died in the defence of Ukraine and to the murdered civilians," reads the resolution.
“Aware that Ukraine is not only defending its borders but also holding back Russian imperialism, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland salutes and thanks the Ukrainian people and that part of the international community which supports their defence efforts for their courage and bravery,” indicates the document.
The Chamber extends special thanks to the Poles who have been and continue to be involved in helping Ukrainian citizens.
In the resolution adopted, the MPs noted that “the fate of Poland and Europe today depends on the fate of Ukraine". At the same time, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland appeals to the governments of NATO and the European Union “to strengthen the comprehensive support provided to Ukraine, in particular, to ensure the rapid supply of military equipment and ammunition, enabling the country to defend itself effectively against the aggressor.”
